ETERNE RIMA's Album Taglibro de brutulo.
Hip-hop crunk and E&B by Tokyo
Samideano is the first Esperanto CD album representing the hugely popular current hip hop genre called Dirty South, which emerged from the states of the southern USA and quickly spread all over the globe. Eterne Rima combines in this album the music styles of crunk and R&B with skillful Esperanto rap texts. Following the current fashion in hip-hop, Eterne Rima often raps about money and the rich lifestyle, which you can hear for example in Reĝo de la strat’ (king of the street), Ne kalkulu (don’t count), or typically crunky Promesita al mono (promised to money). The texts also touch the subjects of relations between a woman and a man: Ho kara mia, vidu (oh look, my dear), En vi estas ŝik’ (there’s chic in you), or Ŝia ĉiel’ (her heaven).
The album obviously does not lack the themes of Esperanto and problems concerning esperantists. In the R&B hit song Samideano (fellow thinker) there is a theme of Esperanto Final Victory and Raumism (Esperantist diaspora existing only for itself); in Jam ne plu estas mok’ (there’s no more mocking) and Vera senc’ (the true sense) you will hear sharp merciless criticism against mockers of Esperanto and the “eternal beginners”. Moreover, you will find various other interesting songs, and additionally three remixes.
18 titles and 15 half-instrumental versions for karaoke – here comes the long fresh material lasting for more than an hour, full of the most modern crunky hip-hop in the international language Esperanto. You must definitely have this CD!
