The Brazilian artist Tone (Antonio Moreira Filho) from Sao Paulo came to fame in Brazilian Esperanto congresses and meetings in 2005-2006 with his hit “Nova kanto”.
Tone is a talented author of rap texts that express his love of life through the use of the language Esperanto and with great rap rythms by his Brazilian co-musicians Slim Rimografia, DJ Nato, and even the band NhôCuné.
After much work and many trials, Tone finished this 7-title mini-album for his European tour in the summer of 2009, with concerts at KEF in Denmark, IJK en the Czech Republic, UK in Poland, and FESTO in Germany.
Repe, ritme, sone... is the name of Tone’s first hiphop production.
The CD appeared in public in July precisely during the Esperanto Cultural Festival KEF 2009 in Elsinore, Denmark.
His themes are praise of Esperanto, the valorization of “we”*, dance, peace, and love.
(* Tone invites us to think about ourselves. We must always be in the center of everything. We are more than everything. We, the humans, are the main thing in this world. Nothing is more important than ourselves and our dear planet Earth.)
