After 25 years in Esperanto...
Lena likes to sing the songs of many Esperanto friends, as well as her own, new and old. Also her daughter Ĵenja is a musician, and before her studies they recorded this first album with family resources and the help of husband and father Dieter Wilke.
Tra la sonĝoj is the first album of ĴeLe presenting their own songs of youth (“Dank’ al vi”, “Vento vaganta”, “Pri maro”, “Kvodlibeto"), songs by friends (“Karteta dometo”, “La malĝojo tristas sole”, “La urbo” from Latvia), newly composed (“Tra la sonĝoj”, “Suna floro”, “Romanco”), a self-translated Ukrainian folk song “Du kverkoj”, and a song by the German group Karussell with a text by Lena.
In this album ĴeLe are:
Ĵenja: vocals, violin, guitar, metallophone
Lena: vocals, piano, guitar, percussion, kazoo, melodica
Recording and mixing in the studio of the musical art school of Schwedt (Germany)
